Grand Canyon State Players's Biography
The Grand Canyon State Players, also known as Under Tha Influince, has been brewing in Arizona since April of '04, playing a style of hip-hop that mixes elements of reggae, blues,traditional mexican, and classical into a visionary style. The Grand Canyon State Players are composed of J. Hoop, his brother Menace, J-Dub, and Peanut, whom are AZ emcee's while B-Haze collaborates adding an AZ-Philly style to the mix, as well as Paul Beebe, who writes the bulk of the music, and has played in reggae, alternative, and jazz bands, as well as winning awards for classical composition. shows around the valley drawing large crowds.
Currently, the Grand Canyon State Players are
promoting the release of their first record Under Tha Influince Presents: Grand Canyon State Playersand are preparing for the release of their secondrecord to debut in spring of 2007.
The Grand Canyon State Players have been
described as "the shit!," told "You all have natural skill and talent," and complimented by a fan "keep making those dope tracks." MP3's of their songs have been sold as far away as Europe. The Grand Canyon State Players are carving their niche in hip-hop music.
