  1. How do I create a playlist and add songs to it? Once you're logged in, you can create playlists by clicking on the "Add Playlist" link on your Member Administration page. Then you can browse the song profiles of your favorite artists and click on Add to Playlist Button and select any of your created playlist. Each playlist can hold up to 40 songs.

For Music Members (Artists)

  1. How can I send a copy of my CD to PittRadio for play or review?
    Once you become a Music Member on PittRadio and create an artist profile, you'll be able to upload your music along with a profile of your album CD, so sending a physical CD not necessary. Save it for your next CD sales.
  2. How do I upload my music?
    If you haven't already done so, signup as a Music Member. Once you've confirmed and activated your account, begin creating an artist profile of yourself or the artist you represent by clicking "Add New Artist" from your admin page. When you have finished, you'll be able to create profiles of your songs and upload MP3 files, clicking on "Add Song" from your admin page next to your selected artist.
  3. How many artists can I manage, and how many songs, albums, and live music information can I upload?
    You can manage an unlimited number of artists, and an unlimited number of albums and live music listings per artist. Each artist can have up to four(4) SingleTracks and six(6) AlbumTracks per album per artist.
  4. What is a SingleTrack and AlbumTrack, and the difference between them?
    There are two classes of songs to upload:
    • SingleTrack: A song which is currently released as not being part of an album (a Single). Each artist can upload up to four(4).
    • AlbumTrack: A song which is currently released on an album. Each artist can upload up to six(6) per album.
  5. How do I become a featured artist (Spotlight Artist of the Month)?
    Spotlight Artist of the Month is a featured spot that's earned when an artist receives the highest number of special votes from the previous month by going to that artist's profile page and clicking on "Vote [Artist name] for Spotlight Artist!" This vote will only be counted once per month per person, and must be done from within PittRadio (the voting link cannot work by linking to it from another site).
